What the links are

Some outbound product links on this site are Amazon Associates affiliate links, tagged with the tracking id electricalcharts-20. If you click one and buy something, Amazon pays us a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.

Affiliate blocks are always labelled Affiliate, and every link carries rel="sponsored nofollow" so search engines treat it as paid, per Google's link-qualification guidance.

What it does not affect

• No calculator result, chart value, derating factor or recommendation changes because of a commercial relationship. The formulas are published on the methodology page so you can check the math yourself.
• We are not paid by any wire, conduit or tool manufacturer, and no brand pays for placement or for a mention on a chart page.
• Product links point at Amazon search results for a category, not a single sponsored listing.

Verify the product, not just the link

Electrical materials must be listed and labelled for the application. Before you buy, confirm the insulation type (THHN, THWN-2, NM-B, XHHW-2), the temperature and wet/dry rating, the conductor material, and that the item is listed by a recognised testing laboratory. A link on this page is not a certification.
